Below is this week’s summary of events, grants and scholarships presented on Landcare’s weekly Thursday segment with Anne Delaney on Riverina ABC Breakfast Radio.
Riverina Rural Women need your (one click) vote to access $50,000 targeting mental health, economic wellbeing and cyber skills. Their project is one of four selected across Australia to potentially receive the 2016 Aussie Farmers Foundation Rural Hero grant. The video with the most votes wins the funding!
The project ‘Get Set: Enhancing Wellbeing Amongst Rural Women’ will deliver outreach to six sites across the Riverina and is a partnership between the Riverina Community College, the Wagga Women’s Health Clinic and Farm Link Research.
