Got a great Landcare project that deserves recognition (with prize money)?  The Society for Ecological Restoration (SERA) has announced its  Inaugural SERA Awards for Restoration Excellence  This award acknowledges individuals or organisations that have made a significant and enduring contribution to the practice of ecological restoration through outstanding on-ground restoration projects. There are two subcategories and also a student award. The 2016 awards nomination period closes 15 September

Men who own and operate farms in NSW, want to help an honours student? Luke Chesworth is an Honours student in Sociology and Anthropology at UNSW who is conducting research into the lived experiences of farming men as part of his degree. More info here

How is your family wellbeing, communication  and farm businesses going? The DPI Rural Resilience Program and Rural Women’s Network offer some well credited workshops to help you and your family. I have attached flyers for you to look and if interested contacted the DPI or your local Landcare coordinator. Further info here
